Our Alter Kutter bar is a proper harbour pub, just like the ones that used to be found all along the coast. It’s a hive of activity here, and it’s where different worlds collide! Every evening at the bar, the most incredible stories are written – or at least told – and, of course, the craziest sailor’s tall tales are spun. So you can look forward to a truly rustic pub that wins you over with its rustic charm and tempts every one of you ‘freshwater sailors’ to stay a while longer. It’s no wonder, really – after all, the Alter Kutter bar boasts a massive and truly fine selection of the finest tipples. From robust craft beer and ice-cold gin and tonics to devilishly strong schnapps or trendy long drinks: our bar team mixes, shakes, stirs and pours until the corks pop and the bar is bending under the weight. Whether you want to stay right there or would rather sit at one of the other tables is, of course, entirely up to you. After all, we’ve got plenty of space for fun and socialising. And if the mood takes you, feel free to have a dance.
